Durable Photogates are reliable in all conditions. Impervious to temperature and sunlight. A dedicated send and receive unit makes an accurate beam, that’s easy to use.

FAQs

  • The Brower TCi Photogate uses a light emitter (Photogate B) and light receiver (Photogate A) to operate. This provides a reliable beam that is not affected by sunlight. It’s also easier to align then a reflector based beam.

    The Brower Photogate A (box with antenna) transmits to the handheld Timer the precise time when the light beam was broken.

    Photogates come in a set and can be used as a start, split, or finish beam.

  • The Brower Timer is the brain of the system. It collects and stores the timing data. It shows the athlete ID number and most importantly the cumulative time, split times and segment times. You can also choose to display times in 1/1000th of a second or speed in KPH/MPH.
